Scarcewater, SW92135501, 2008, DTH 08-68
(BBSUK) (Rothero 2010: 64). [Previously
reported for vc2 (Roche, Halgavor Moor and Bodmin, in Tellam
1888) but specimens lacking; a specimen seen (Rough Tor Moor,
1891, RVT (B)) is misidentified var. commune according to
Paton 1969a: 711. Hence it was deleted from CC
by Crundwell 1970: 196].

Recent records of var. perigoniale are from unshaded, open, damp to rather dry,
acidic soil on china-clay spoil, on flat ground, beside a
track and bank beside ditch.
