Grows on unshaded or almost unshaded mud exposed
during summer to autumn at edge of Drift Reservoir. Sometimes
plentiful; mainly lacking close associates other than algae,
although very sparse Aphanorrhegma patens
sometimes nearby, and some plants growing near Littorella uniflora or
at base of Scirpus
tabernaemontani.
