MEETINGS
CISFBR
participates in periodic workshops and seminars, and organises
a Spring meeting with the AGM and biodiversity discussion
meetings in Summer or Autumn. Other activities, including
field meetings, can be additionally arranged at the suggestion
of members. Past meetings have included habitat based
workshops, which were held for marine, freshwater, woodland
and sand-dune habitats.
It's that time of year when the recording community begins to think about tucking themselves away to hide from the wind and rain, to knuckle down to process their records for the year (and/or previous years, ahem) and to chase those tricky IDs, while still occasionally fancying some human contact and free biscuits.
With this in mind, we'd like to invite you to this year's CISFBR AGM and Recorders' Meeting on Saturday 15th November, at Fraddon Village Hall (as per last year).
We will be hearing about what the recording community has been up to this year, with news about individual/group/academic/professional activities, interesting finds, local projects, opportunities to get involved, etc. There will be talks, displays, tea, coffee and (those free) biscuits, as well as time for socialising with like-minded people.
We look forward to seeing you.
