Range & Status

It is not clear whether this species actually occurs in Britain, but there are unconfirmed records from a number of sites in southern England, as well as west Cornwall.

Regional Distribution

Bannister reported this species as ' fairly commonly' at St. Levan in 1958, and both Joy (1908) and Mackechnie-Jarvis (1969) have reported it from the Isles of Scilly.

Habitat & Ecology

Possibly a coastal species; possibly associated with Yellow Meadow Ant Lasius flavus .
