Pyrenocollema pelvetiae

Range & Status

On fronds of the seaweed Channelled Wrack Pelvetia canaliculata at the entrance to the Bude Canal in north-east Cornwall, and on the foreshore at Channals Creek, Trelissick. The only 20th and 21st century records are from sheltered estuaries in Devon and Cornwall and on the shore-end of the Bude Canal. There are old records from northern Scotland (Orkney Islands). Elsewhere known from France and Spain.
