Range & Status
Formerly widespread in southern England but has become increasingly scarce.
Regional Distribution
Taken in both vice counties early last century, most recently on dry exposed cliffs at
Backways Cove in 1908 (Butler, 1909).
Habitat & Ecology
Biology not well-known, but probably associated with clovers other than Subterranean Clover Trifolium subterraneum , e.g. White Clover T. repens .
Threats
Inadequate management, together with human wear of cliff-tops.
