Range & Status

Previously known as Psen littoralis this species was recorded as new to the aculeate fauna of Cornwall from the sand dunes at Holywell Bay in September, 2004. The majority of British and Irish records are from dune systems, where the species is associated with the dry Marram zone of the ' white/embryo dunes' . Mainly associated with dunes in western Britain from Cornwall and Devon, Wales and Lancashire.
