Range & Status

Fairly widely scattered across Britain, but has become increasingly scarce and all modern records are from the south-east.

Regional Distribution

One old record for Cornwall.

Habitat & Ecology

A stem-feeder, mainly on Hedge Mustard Sisymbrium officinale ; also on Brassica spp. and possibly other Cruciferae on coastal sites generally.

Threats

Disturbance of stands of foodplants.
