Widespread across much of southern England.
Regional Distribution
Noted in the Victoria County History (Clark, 1906) from Liskeard and Bishop' s Wood, Truro; rediscovered by Ken Merrifield at Pencalenick in 1983 and subsequently found in the well-wooded Bynorth Cliff, East Dizzard in 2000. A large and distinctive species unlikely to be particularly overlooked.
Habitat & Ecology
A tree canopy living species with a particular association with lichen-covered Oak Quercus spp. branches.
