Range & Status

Occurs on somewhat basic rocks e.g. basalt and mica-schist in upland areas often in seepage tracks and spasmodically wet situations. A rare but widespread species which occurs in Cornwall only on the serpentine at Gew Graze on the Lizard Peninsula. Elsewhere central and northern Scotland (Argyll, Mid-Perth and Westerness), Sweden and Czechoslovakia.
