Range & Status
Restricted to 52 10km squares on limey soil in southern Britain.
Regional Distribution
Three localities are listed for before 1907, but the most recent site was a small colony on rough pasture at Brae Hill, near Rock, in September 1975. Despite many searches it has not been refound, and may be extinct in Cornwall.
Habitat & Ecology
Occurs in coarse herbage in hot sites over limestone or chalk.

Conservation
Needs re-finding if possible, after which the site should be protected for detailed study.
