Range & Status

Widespread in southern and central Europe, this bug is strictly coastal in Britain and is most widespread in the south west.

Regional Distribution

Widespread along the Cornish coast and not really of any great significance to conservation.

Habitat & Ecology

Found wherever suitable stands of its food plants Portland Spurge Euphorbia portlandica and Sea Spurge E. paralias occur, on dune, shingle and cliffs. Chiefly found on the ground beneath and near the host plants.
