Found only in Cornwall.
Regional Distribution
It has been recorded in three Cornish gardens at Angarrack, Redruth and St Mawes, where they originated from accidental spillage of eggs from cultured stock. In 2003, this species was confirmed at Mount Edgcumbe, where it may have arrived on plants imported from New Zealand.

Similar to Acanthoxyla geisovii.
