Range & Status
Widespread but with most records from the Scottish Highlands and the East Anglian fens.
Recorded in Cornwall from two sites on The Lizard (1981), at Liskeard (1992), Keveral Wood, Seaton, Saltash, Sheviock, Maker, St. Anne' s Chapel and Torpoint (1993), Morval, Torpoint and Polbathic (1994) and Zennor (2000).
Habitat & Ecology
The adults can be seen at marsh flowers between April and July in bogs and fens.
Drainage and lowering of the water table by extraction.
The west Cornwall sites are on the Lizard National Nature Reserve.
