Neobisium maritimum

Range & Status

Very local on the western coast of Britain and the eastern coast of Ireland. Probably

under-recorded due to the nature of the habitat in which it occurs.

Regional Distribution

Recorded in seven 10km squares, from most of the islands in the Isles of Scilly, also from St. Ives, Helford Passage, Porthcurnick, Gyllingvase and Hannafore Point.

Habitat & Ecology

Recorded from the littoral zone, beneath stones and in rock crevices.
