Range & Status

Widespread in the British Isles but appears rather localised in distribution.

Regional Distribution

Reported in the Victoria County History (Clark, 1906) from Falmouth. The only modern record comes from remnant old heather around the boulder fields on Carn Galver, Zennor in 2007.

Habitat & Ecology

Feeds on the microflora encrusting the branches and foliage of trees and shrubs, including dwarf shrubs such as heather.
