Range & Status

Widespread in brackish water localities, from Kent to Hebrides, in about 30 sites. Downgraded from RDB3.

Regional Distribution

Recorded from Trevassack Quarry on east side of The Lizard in 1981.

Habitat & Ecology

Larvae live in brackish and freshwater pools; the adults fly between May and October.

Threats

Development of the site for recreational activities.
