Range & Status
Most of the British population is in south-west England, including Lundy.
Has been found to be widespread along rocky sea cliffs all around the Cornish coast.
Habitat & Ecology
Associated with seepages or streamlets on coastal cliffs and rocks. The biology is
unknown, but the larvae presumably live in mud by the seepages.
Coastal defence works and water extraction in vicinity of sites.
The Cornish sites are mostly on National Trust land and within SSSI.
