Range & Status
A relatively poorly known species with records scattered sparsely over southern England from the Isles of Scilly to east Kent and north to Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. A scarce species with poorly-known requirements. Described as new to science in 1968, it may prove to be under-recorded. Found in open sunny habitats and has been taken around wooden posts, its host species is unknown. The VC2 record was from the Sandymouth beach area, north-east Cornwall, in 1994.
