Range & Status
Formerly widespread in Britain and may have become scarcer; more-or-less confined to the south.
Old records from Tregantle Down, Whitsand Bay (Walker, 1875) and Gwithian in 1936 by R.T. Bannister.
Habitat & Ecology
Feeds on Thale Cress Arabidopsis thaliana and occasionally Shepherd' s Cress Teesdalia nudicaulis and other Cruciferae on coastal shingle, saltmarsh and waste ground.
As the foodplant is ruderal, disturbance must be the key to its conservation.
