Range & Status

A very local species of exposed rocks on the tops of sea cliffs, in scattered sites in southwest England, east and west Scotland, the Isle of Man and south-west Ireland. It occurs on acidic coastal rocks in West Penwith and the Isles of Scilly and elsewhere in Cornwall, but is also known from ultramafic serpentine at Kynance Cove on the Lizard Peninsula.
